Black Current

Black Current begins with a live-edge walnut slab whose natural contours and grain define the form of the table. A restrained black epoxy inlay follows an existing fissure through the walnut like a dark current, emphasizing the movement of the wood rather than competing with it. A low, angular black base provides a crisp architectural counterpoint to the organic slab above.
